Diabetes Prevention Camp for Teenage Boys
In a study conducted jointly with Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, 4.2 % of youth aged 11 to 18 years were found to have pre-diabetes. This prevention camp is targeted towards youth who have a high risk of developing diabetes in the future. It aims to educate them about diabetes-prevention through positive lifestyle changes and to equip them with the necessary tools to reduce their risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes.
