Healthcare in Conflict Settings: Mitigating Suffering, Offering Hope

The exhibition, titled “Healthcare in Conflict Settings: Mitigating Suffering, Offering Hope,” will run from April 22 - 30 from 5pm. Attendees include Dr Mukesh Kapila, WISH Forum Chair and Professor of Global Health and Humanitarian Affairs at the University of Manchester, and Showkat Shafi, an exhibiting Al Jazeera photographer whose photographs of the plight of Rohingya fleeing Myanmar feature in the exhibition.

The exhibition showcases the work of nine photographers working with organizations such as Medécins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), Orbis, Qatar Red Crescent, and Al Jazeera. Among the conflict settings featured are Syria, Yemen, Niger, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Bangladesh, and Mexico.
