Introduction to Emergency and Disaster Management
This class will provide an overview of Emergency and Disaster Management. It will cover the theory and frameworks, as well as its challenges, the types of disasters, the trends, and future plans to tackle the issue. It will enable the students to understand the various challenges, roles, and structures of the field, along with the reasons, trends, and weaknesses specific to natural disasters as well as those specific to man-made disasters like humanitarian and health-related crises.
These classes will take place each Sunday from 6.30 – 8.30pm.
