Maximizing Intercultural Teams
Research shows that culturally diverse teams produce more and better ideas, but diversity also makes teamwork challenging. It can be hard for team members to learn to work together when they see the world and their tasks differently. In this workshop, we will examine the cultural factors that can help us understand differences in worldviews, expectations, and work styles. We will then look at how to make sense of the cultural conundrum of teams and see how cultural diversity can be an asset, rather than a detriment, for maximizing group functioning.
Whether you are a group leader, a supervisor, or a member of a group, this workshop will help you to approach teams and teamwork with new cultural insights and ways of engagement.
