As part of the Doha Learning Week 2017, taking place on November 10-16 across Doha and culminating with the 2017 World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC) will deliver a workshop entitled “The Role of Parents in Guiding Their Children’s Career Paths.” The workshop will address the impact of parents on their children’s career-related decisions, and the importance of introducing ‘career guidance’ to both the parents and their children.

The workshop will present the Career Decision-Making Paradigm, which is a practical tool and a mental probing exercise that aims to assist individuals, particularly the youth, in identifying the optimal academic and career path/s for them.

This free workshop is delivered only in Arabic. Participants will be issued a certificate of participation from QCDC.

The workshop is open for public targeting both parents and students. Early registration is required, and attendance will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
